The workplace becomes hotspot for dating

Steve and Ted discuss workplace romances and the impact they have on their companies. Repchatter_logo_2

The discussion is centered on a Miami Herald article by Fred Gonzalez in which he references a survey (conducted by Glamour magazine and Lawyers.com, no less) that reveals that 41 percent of employed Americans ages 25-40 admit to having an office romance.

Is it difficult to separate work from personal time?  Can office romances lead to poor production for companies?

  1. Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you
know a few of the pictures aren’t loading correctly.
I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in
two different web browsers and both show the same results.

  2. It could lead to some distractions. But what is the average employee (or even boss) to do? We spend forever hours in the office?
I think that not having anyone at all could lead to worse. As most of us do work well when we have that special someone in our lives Not to mention the firm will have a bunch of really well groomed guys and gals.
As usual, there is balance. The ups and downs of the romance thing. It would have to be up to the head honchos to see what works for them.
I would assume that the older the cast in the romance play, the more you will see discretion.

  5. I have done the romance in the workplace thing, and I would NEVER do it again.
I wouldn’t recommend it, as I became sidetracked from my work and more concerned about what he was doing.
    BTW,I cant stand him anymore
