Yes, Steve, I consider you and Mr. Moed success stories. But inquiring minds want to know - who is the Lennon and who is the McCartney in your partnership?

Ed's more like Brian Epstein than either John or Paul, Julie. The man knows numbers.

I just forwarded this post to every young smartass that works for me/here. Congrats on 14 years to you both.

Thanks Lunch. Really appreciate it.

Happy 14th, Steve and Ed, and I hope you have many more to come.

Thanks Syd. You were part of it. Staying in touch with the fine folks at Bayview Financial?

The 1031 division is long gone (go figure). But, yes, I still talk to Steve.

Well, that most certainly makes me feel better. I need to make my bf read it who feels like a failure b/c he will not be able to retire at 35 - he's lucky he's not in the food stamp line.

LOL. I like that the version you listed in Recommended Reading is "large print."

Thanks Trish. The current recession has made lots of people re-think their early retirement schedules (not to mention the hundreds of thousands of retirees who have had to un-retire and go back to work).Realistic expectations are more important than ever. Otherwise, people like your friend are setting themselves up for failure and disappointment.
